			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Police and operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency raided a 25 hectare Marijuana plantation in Northern Luzon, this weed farmland is located Sitio Banga-banga along the border of Quezon town in Isabela and Tabuk, Kalinga.</p>
<p>Operation &#8220;Farmville&#8221; was a result of a month-long surveillance conducted by the PDEA and the cordillera police from a tip of residents in the area.<br />

The raiding team was composed of elements from the Regional Mobile Groups (RMG) of the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Groups (CIDG) of Isabela, Cagayan and Kalinga.</p>
<p>Authorities burned about 600,000 trees that was planted on the area, PDEA estimated the contraband with a street value of 1 billion pesos. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Philippine Air Force plane crashed in a residential area in Cotobato City killing all 8 passengers and a civilian.  The ill-fated Nomad plane crashed in at least 3 houses in Virgo Subdivision, Purok 7, Rosary Heights 9, Cotobato City minutes after taking off earlier today from the Awang Airport in Cotobato City.</p>
<p>Maj. Gen. Mario Butch Lacson, commander of the Air Force&#39;s 3rd Air Division was the highest-ranking official among the military fatalities.<br />

Also died in the crash were pilots Capt. Genaro Gaylord Ordonio and 1st Lt. Angelica Valdez. The other passengers of the military aircraft were Maj. Prisco Tacuboy, Lt. Alexander Ian Lipait and Staff Sergeants Ronaldo Mejia, Ianne Christy Marose Llamera and Jeffrey Gozon.  The civilian casualty was identified as Inday Mondrano, a visitor in one of the house where the Nomad Plane crashed.</p>
<p>PAF will be investigating on the cause of the crash, investigators will be looking on three factors that might have cause a plane to crash: human error, environmental conditions, and material factor.</p>
