The first Grand Lotto draw was held earlier this evening with a pot money of 108,241,282.80 for the winning combination 25-05-38-26-53-04, nobody won the jackpot on the first draw.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto will be using a single panel system, which means a bettor only has to choose six numbers in any order for a combination but this time, he has a bigger range of numbers to choose from – from 1 to 55.

According to PCSO spokesperson Dr. Larry Cedro, the jackpot prize of the Grand Lotto’s initial draw was first estimated at P30 million, but since nobody won the last and final pot of the Power Lotto on Saturday, it was immediately increased by P106,674,714.

Also out of the movie franchise is director Sam Raimi, the new movie will be an all new casts and director, this new movie is expected to be shown in 2012 instead of the original plan of releasing the Spiderman 4 in 2011.

In a statement Raimi said, “Working on the Spider-Man movies was the experience of a lifetime for me. While we were looking forward to doing a fourth one together, the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job.”

The new movie will be based on a script by James Vanderbilt that focuses on Peter Parker in high school.
