Purefoods Swept the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup Championship
The Purefoods Giants delivered the final blow and knocked out the Alaska Aces in the championship series of the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup.
The Giants finished the hopes of the Aces to extend the series by winning game number 4 86-76 at the Araneta Coliseum, Wednesday night. Top seed Alaska Aces looking for their 13th championship since they joined the league 1986 but the 3rd seed Purefoods has other things in mind.
James Yap was awarded the Best Player of the Conference trophy, the first Purefoods player to win the award since Rey Evangelista in the 2002 Governors Cup.
