Talk n’ Text walked out of Game 4 of quarterfinals against Ginebra

A flagrant foul 2 call against Ranidel de Ocampo prompted Tropang Texters coach Chot Reyes to order his team to walk out of their quarterfinals game of the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup against Ginebra Friday night at the Araneta Coliseum.

De Ocampo fouled the driving Tubid of Ginebra in mid-air which the referee called as flagrant foul 2 which meted a penalty of being thrown out of the game.

The Gin Kings was leading the game 27-20 with 1 minute remaining in the opening quarter. Although efforts were made to convince the Talk n’ Text team to return to the game but everything proved to be futile when the team refused to return to the court. The win was awarded to the Gin Kings via default, series is now tied 2-2, game 5 will be on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tropang Texters coach Chot Reyes told that they will definitely file a protest against the referees.

A fine of 500,000 will be slapped against the Texters for the walk-out.
